Just been at the breakfast club with some friends in Angel.
Needless to say a pleasurable experience, definitely helped by my friends utter confusion when table water was provided in re-used Grolsch bottles.
I can I imagine that breakfast is probably the best meal to have here - not unsurprisingly however a very nice place to chill out nonetheless.
So yes go there, it’s nice.
Sometimes the best breakfast is also the most simple. (Very old image yet still amusing)
I am worried this is becoming a habit!
Once again I find myself on the way to heathrow at 4:45 am. What the hell is up with me.
This time it is my dad, on his way to Austria - to join my mother. What is with these guys and getting the earliest flights possible???
Its not like we fly sleazyjet or ryanair, if you have the choice from Lufthansa and or Austrian Airlines, why not pick a sociable hour to fly. I don’t know, 9:30 AM or go wild with a 12 o clock flight.
The only people that get the first flights out - that actually have a reason - are those with breakfast meetings to attend. That is literally the only reason that is acceptable.
Anyway, after last weeks failure to secure a McDonalds Egg McMuffin, I have come far more prepared and shall be going to the McD’s I know is actually open, rather than going to two that are not, this time, my plan is fool proof!
Success will be mine - as well as a tasty breakfast!
So, I have been recruited to take my mother to the airport.
Fine I said, sounds good.
Then she tells me her flight leaves at 6:40.
That is so totally not cool. Which os course explains why I am now sitting in my car about to drive off to Heathrow at this ungodly hour!
Oh well, such is life - What we do for family ey.
Still there is a plus to all this. I may treat myself to an egg mcmuffin breakfast!
