Thoughts, photos and other things.

Well sorry about the last two day, I was busy enjoying an adrenaline fuelled roller-coaster ride.

My dissertation has been handed in [Yes, it feels about as good as you can imagine] and  I now find myself in a state of recovery. The last few weeks have definitely been taxing - in more than one way, however it wasn’t all bad.

I am really proud of the actual paper, it read really nicely, and I think I managed to cover everything I wanted to. I posed the question ‘The impact of Twitter on media: does this herald a new form of journalism?’ I won’t give away my findings - I am not actually sure as to whether I am allowed to, but suffice to say it was a really interesting topic to investigate, and I enjoyed it immensely.

I hope to put it online once all the marking has been finished just incase it is of interest to anyone.

Other than my dissertation, the last 36 hours have been filled with alcohol and sleep - amongst other things, so that has been fun.

I now very much look forward to entering to ‘real’ world of having a job and working.

The prospect fills me with joy for many reasons, for one I get to make some money - always a good thing, doing some more travelling, meeting a new set of people as well as a thousand other reasons :).

Of course I also love the fact that for once nothing is set in stone.

There are very few parameters on this hunt (although I do have particular industry’s I am interested in working in) and therefore I have no idea what will be in store for me.

Abroad? Staying in London? All wonderful questions I look forward to getting an answer to.

So there you have it, free as a bird and damn well looking forward to the next challenge.
